Toxicology Testing Methods

Toxicology testing is performed to determine the extent to which a chemical or a substance can damage a living or non-living organism. These are generally conducted by researchers using standard test procedure set by the government. Several stages and testing of in-vitro and in-vivo research are conducted to ensure the safety of the product or drug before first human consumption. Methods for example products such as pesticide, medications, cosmetics are generally tested by applying on skin or eyes; injecting intravenously, intramuscularly or subcutaneously.
