In vivo and In vitro Toxicology

Both in-vitro and in-vivo methods are most commonly used by industries and regulatory authority for toxicity testing. An in-vitro test is the study of the procedures that is performed outside a living organism. In contrast, an in-vivo tests study is performed on living organisms. Both these method are occasionally used to analyze the inherent properties of the hazardous and chemical substance.
